Post-Doc

Hey, I am Dongsheng, a postdoc at QIQG group at the University of Warsaw. Originally I am from Huanggang, a small city near Wuhan. After I graduated from Wuhan University, I started my academic and cultural journey in Europe. I have been enrolled in the Joint Master Program of High Energy Physics between ETH Zurich and Ecole Polytechnique of Paris, where I spent one year at each institute. Paris has been attractive to me, thus I stayed at Ecole Normale Superieure de Paris for the last four years, where I obtained my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Giuseppe Policastro. In terms of research, I have been fascinated by the holographic way of understanding the nature of physics. It offers a rather special perspective to anatomise the geometry of the spacetime, so as  to uncover certain information hidden behind. More specifically, I have been exploring the gravitational aspects of some quantum information objects such as the entanglement entropy and quantum complexity, as well as understanding them from a QFT perspective. Another facet of my current research interests is to understand the gluing of both gravitational theories and quantum field theories, nouveau features usually arise in this setup…
